Welcome to Owlsome Cakes! By placing an order through our website, social media, or direct message, you agree to the following terms. We’ve kept them clear and straightforward — just like our cakes — so you know exactly what to expect.

Ordering

All orders placed online through our website or sales funnel are processed via Stripe. Once your order is submitted and payment is confirmed, you’ll receive an email confirmation from us.
For custom orders or special requests, please contact us directly to discuss your design, availability, and any additional costs before confirming.

Please provide at least three (3) days’ notice for standard orders. Custom cakes may require longer lead times depending on the complexity.

2. Payments

All payments are securely processed through Stripe at the time of ordering. We do not store or have access to your payment details.
For bespoke or special orders agreed outside of the standard menu, an invoice or payment link will be sent via Monzo Bank— payment must be made in full to confirm your order.

3. Collection

Orders are to be collected from:
Owlsome Cakes, 45 Heol y Waen.

Collection times will be confirmed when your order is accepted. Please arrive within your agreed time slot to ensure freshness and smooth handover.

4. Delivery & Postal Orders

We offer limited local delivery for an additional fee. Delivery slots are subject to availability and must be arranged directly with us before placing your order.
Some products may also be suitable for postal delivery; please contact us to confirm if this is possible for your chosen cake.

We are not responsible for delays or damage caused by courier or postal services once items have left our premises.

5. Allergies & Dietary Information

We operate a nut and gluten-free kitchen; we work hard to ensure that our ingredients haven't been produced in facilities that handle nuts or other allergens.
Products containing marzipan are prepared separately, outside of the kitchen, to maintain our nut-free environment.

Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements before placing your order. Customers are responsible for ensuring all allergy information is communicated clearly.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

All our cakes are made to order, so we do not offer refunds once production has begun.

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours before collection may be eligible for a partial refund at our discretion.

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of collection or delivery are non-refundable.

  • Refunds are not available for change of mind or if the product has been collected/delivered in good condition.

If an error has occurred on our part or there is a genuine quality issue, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order with photos and details. We’ll review and work with you to resolve it fairly.

7. Storage & Consumption

Once collected or delivered, cakes become the responsibility of the customer. Please store them according to our guidance and consume within the recommended time for freshness.
Owlsome Cakes cannot be held liable for damage or spoilage once the cake has left our care.

8. Copyright & Design

All cake designs, photos, and creative content are the property of Owlsome Cakes. Reproduction or replication of our designs without permission is not permitted.
We may share photos of your cake on our social media or website unless you request otherwise in writing.
